Hi friends! Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? The kids are on Rodeo break – it\u2019s an Arizona thing!- so we\u2019re enjoying sleeping in, fun adventures, and no homework (bless it). I\u2019d love to hear what you have going on!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m on Day 5 of the CBO protocol<\/a> and chugging along. It\u2019s been very hard to live without garlic and onions, but I\u2019ve been making lots of amazing veggie and protein-packed meals, in addition to the supplements. I\u2019m going to be sharing my healing journey in an upcoming post; if you have any questions you\u2019d like me to answer, please lmk in the comments!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you\u2019re loving in the comments section below.<\/p>\n

Friday Faves 2.23<\/h2>\n

Random\/life:<\/h3>\n

A little getaway to San Diego. The Pilot and I spent just over 24 hours in one of our favorite places for our good friend Jeremy\u2019s 50th birthday. We\u2019ve been friends with Betsy and Jeremy since Liv was in preschool and they\u2019ve become like family. We\u2019ve traveled all over with them, and will often meet up in various spots. We flew into San Diego on Saturday morning<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

and went straight to Liberty Station. We shopped, walked around, and got an awesome lunch at Tender Greens. We hung out at the hotel and then got ready for the party!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

(While we were getting ready, we watched the John Mulaney special on Netflix. It was such a treat to watch Tv, together, during the day.)<\/p>\n

The party was amazing, as expected. Betsy always has the best decor and an incredible spread. Chef Ron and his team were in the kitchen preparing all of the food, and they had a bartender on the patio mixing signature cocktails and drinks.<\/p>\n

(I did a poll on IG<\/a> to see if the Pilot should shave his mustache. 300+ people said YES, while about 16 said he should keep it. Those 16 people were enough to tell him to keep it around haha)<\/p>\n

It was a very late, super fun night, and somehow I dragged my booty out of bed for a Sunday Lagree class at Define.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in San Diego, take a class with Carina! We used to teach barre together when we lived in SD, and she\u2019s super fun and motivating. I love seeing her face and visiting her gorgeous studio whenever we\u2019re in town!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

We got breakfast at Liberty Station – we didn\u2019t leave Point Loma the entire time – and then headed to the airport to make our way back to the crew. It\u2019s wild how just one night can make you feel like a human again and so refreshed.<\/p>\n

SUPER exciting\u00a0Beautycounter<\/a> launch coming next week. I haven\u2019t been posting as much about Beautycounter lately because I haven\u2019t been as excited about the new products. I\u2019ve been waiting years for this to arrive, and it\u2019s going to be GOOD.<\/p>\n

It feels like spring this week, so of course I have my eye on some spring finds. I haven\u2019t been loving the RTR selection as much lately, so I\u2019ll likely pause for a while and shop for real instead \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Fitness, health, and good eats:<\/h3>\n

New rebounder!<\/a> I\u2019ve been wanting one for a while to help support my lymphatic system and found this inexpensive one on Amazon<\/a>. It was super easy to set up and it\u2019s fun to play music and jump for 5-10 minutes. As expected, it\u2019s a huge hit with the kids, too.<\/p>\n

You need to try the best gluten-free brownies.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

I appreciate this bit of science<\/a>\u00a0especially since women usually get the short end of the stick on these things.<\/p>\n
