Hi hi! Happy Friday! What\u2019s going on this weekend? I hope you have a fun and relaxing one ahead! I\u2019m catching up on some work stuff this morning, studying for IHP<\/a>, and fighting the temptation to decorate for Christmas. Usually we\u2019re a strong \u201chonor the bird\u201d family and wait until after Thanksgiving, but this year I have zero chill. Give me wreaths, Christmas trees, sparkly holiday baubles, and all the holly jolly. I\u2019m 100% in the Christmas spirit and want to live.it.up.<\/p>\n

This weekend, Pilot is getting promoted to another leadership position, so we have a ceremony tomorrow. Also, our Kleiger fam<\/a> is here to celebrate!! We had an amazing dinner at Culinary Dropout with them last night.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so happy to spend some time with them and enjoy adventures today with Betsy<\/a> while the kiddos are at school. The Pilot\u2019s mom gets in today, too, so it should be a great weekend with lots of family\/friend time.<\/p>\n

I was familiar with his background, but had no idea how many enormous hits he’s written and\/or produced over the years, along with the talents he\u2019s discovered.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait to watch this.<\/a><\/p>\n

Fashion + beauty:<\/h3>\n

Got this cute blazer<\/a> for a steal and the quality is gorgeous. I love the way blazers look with jeans and a tank, or with a dress and Chelsea boots. I figured I\u2019ll wear this one a lot this fall!\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had these Madewell jeans<\/a> in my cart for about 2 weeks and think I\u2019m going to go for it. This is my truce attempt between skinny jeans and the ridiculously unflattering wide leg situations. Does anyone have these? Should I go for it?<\/p>\n

Now is the chance to get new makeup brushes<\/a> if you\u2019ve been needing them.<\/p>\n

Fitness + good eats:<\/h3>\n

In case you\u2019re already looking for a turkey recipe, I\u2019ve gotchu.<\/a><\/p>\n
