Hi friends! The weekend is here and we\u2019re officially into summer! The kids had an amazing school year, but we\u2019re definitely all ready for a break (especially from the early mornings and homework). This weekend is Liv\u2019s First Communion, new Fit Team<\/a> workouts go out on Sunday, and we\u2019re going to spend lots of time in the pool. I hope you have a lovely and relaxing weekend ahead!<\/p>\n

For now, it\u2019s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite things from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you\u2019re loving in the comments section below!<\/p>\n

Friday Faves<\/h2>\n

Life:<\/h3>\n

We had some friends over to celebrate the end of school and it was the perfect evening.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the menu:<\/p>\n

– Artichoke dip and crackers<\/p>\n

– A giant thing of fruit (jicama, mango, cucumber, pineapple)\u00a0and chamoy that Ana brought<\/p>\n

– Always the cheese board<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

(I tried making little rivers this time instead of piles and like how it turned out)<\/p>\n

– Steak with chimmichurri sauce<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

– Caesar salad with homemade sourdough croutons (this is the dressing<\/a>)<\/p>\n

– Grilled salmon<\/p>\n

– Mashed sweet potatos<\/p>\n

– Sangria<\/a> and margaritas<\/p>\n

– and for dessert, chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting<\/a> and the most gorgeous Persian love cakes from Agave Pantry<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The kids swam for hours (our babysitter is a lifeguard and came over to keep an extra set of eyes on the pool), we got to catch up with some of our closest friends, and it was a blast.<\/p>\n
