Sharing a recap of our Sevilla adventures!<\/em><\/p>\n

Hi friends! How are ya? I hope that you\u2019re having a lovely day so far. We\u2019re meeting up with some friends before I have some podcast interviews, and we’re looking forward to a low-key night here at home.<\/p>\n

For today\u2019s post, I wanted to share a recap of some of the adventures in Sevilla.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While there\u2019s no way to recap everything – we were there for four weeks! – I love sharing ideas for my friends who might be traveling to this gorgeous spot, and I also enjoy these posts as a little memory book. TBH I\u2019m the worst at printing photos and have thousands on my phone and computer. At least I have the ol\u2019 blog holding some of our memories that I can come back to. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Sevilla Adventures<\/h2>\n

While we were in Sevilla, we did a mix of all of our favorite things: walking around and exploring, eating, shopping, and hanging out with friends. It was an amazing opportunity to catch up with our beloved friends who live there (and P\u2019s best friend in the whole world), as well as enjoy a spot that feels more comfortable to us since we were there last summer for a couple of weeks. The nice thing is that we didn\u2019t feel like we were in a rush to do the touristy things. We\u2019d seen the major landmarks already, had plenty of time, and it gave us the opporunity to sloooooow down, which was welcomed after such a chaotic start to the year.<\/p>\n

Restaurant recommendations in Sevilla<\/h3>\n

I ended up cooking quite a bit during this trip and loved it. It was so much fun to go to the market each day and buy whatever looked good, and since it was just me and the girls for the most part, the meals were quick and casual. (When the Pilot is home I feel like I have to make real meals\/recipes, but when it\u2019s just me and the girls, we hodge podge it a lot.)<\/p>\n

We also had pollo asado down the street and it was so convenient to get a fresh $11 rotisserie chicken that would feed all of us!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

We did *family dinners* with our friends and we\u2019d each make a couple of things and have dinner all together at their dining room table almost every weeknight. It was such a treat and I already miss it. We\u2019d share the labor of cooking + dishes, could chat and hang out, and the kids could run around and be wild when they were done eating. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

We also ate at some incredible restaurants in Sevilla.<\/p>\n

– Alfalfa 8<\/p>\n

– El Rinconcillo<\/p>\n

– Petra (get the Spanish tortilla)<\/p>\n

– Maria Trifulca<\/p>\n

– Ca\u00f1abota (an incredible Michelin star experience)<\/p>\n

– Ch\u00f6k gluten-free bakery<\/p>\n

– Bar Picant\u00f3n for paella<\/p>\n

– Always the ice cream at Rosalia. They have gf cones now, too!<\/p>\n

One new thing we did on this trip: a day at Isla M\u00e1gica! It\u2019s a giant theme park and water park right in the city, and the kids had a blast. The water slides were super fun and they also have crazy roller coasters. They also have beer and tinto de verano, so wins all around.<\/p>\n

Flamenco – we saw two flamenco shows while we were there, and they remain my very favorite things \ud83d\ude42 I recommend Las Setas, Casa de la Memoria, and La Caboner\u00eda<\/p>\n

Gym:<\/h3>\n

I also joined a gym while we were in town! I was happy with my Airbnb Sculpt Society workouts,<\/a> but decided to get gym membership at Enjoy! San Bernardo which has multiple pools. I got it two weeks into the trip and should have done it sooner! The pools was perfect for hot days, and I loved their group fitness classes. They also have an enormous floor of new Technogym cardio and strength equipment. It was a beautiful and super clean facility.<\/p>\n

Airbnb:<\/h3>\n

We stayed at an Airbnb and while it was very cute, it was very, very small. Usually it wouldn\u2019t be a big deal because we\u2019re out and exploring, but because it was pretty hot, we spent more time in the Airbnb than usual. I wish I would have paid a little more to have a balcony or little patio to hang out. It was perfect for the three of us girls, but we were definitely ready for our comfy beds at home when it was time to leave.<\/p>\n
