{"id":459,"date":"2022-01-09T15:23:32","date_gmt":"2022-01-09T15:23:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bestratefinders.com\/blog\/?p=459"},"modified":"2022-03-02T05:53:09","modified_gmt":"2022-03-02T05:53:09","slug":"how-to-build-new-habits-that-stick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bestratefinders.com\/blog\/diet-tips\/how-to-build-new-habits-that-stick\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Build New Habits That Stick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>build <strong>new habits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For years you\u2019ve all joked that I\u2019m \u201cthe queen of routines\u201d and honestly\u2026it makes me so happy!<\/p>\n<p>I live for r<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=n6XDiaQNwsA&amp;list=PLdYzX3jwib3FHPetDtSUqkJ6uQ71G9Mup\">outines.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>They give me structure so I can do more of the things I love each day and honestly they help me be the best version of myself.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s because<strong> I create <a href=\"https:\/\/lovesweatfitness.com\/secrets-to-my-healthy-daily-routine\/\">my routines<\/a> based on who I want<\/strong> <strong>to be<\/strong> and build small daily habits, or micro goals, to help me achieve that.<\/p>\n<p>The best part about routines is right in the name itself\u2026.after a while you don\u2019t even have to think about it, you just do it.&nbsp;You eventually go on auto pilot and it just becomes <strong>who you are.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Creating healthy habits means you can <strong>stop stressing <\/strong>about losing weight, eating better, or whatever else you feel like you want to change and start living life!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to Build New Habits<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Most of our daily life is a string of habits we&#8217;ve formed. Think about the things you do every day without fail. There are probably habits you love and maybe some you&#8217;d rather not have part of your routine.<\/p>\n<p>The most important thing is understanding <strong>WHY<\/strong> these new habits are important for you. Be specific (when, when, where)<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t try to do it all at once. Pick 1-3 that are most important to you and start there.<\/li>\n<li>Add it into your day and attach it to something you already do. For example, if you want to make your bed every morning you could say &#8220;every morning when I get out of bed I will make it before I do anything else.
