The powerlifting community got a recent emphatic reminder of this fact.<\/p>\n<p>On July 8, 2022, during the 2022 World Games, Sitko (76KG) <strong>broke three equipped International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) World Records<\/strong> with a 195-kilogram (429.9-pound) <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/bench-press\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"120359\">bench press<\/a>, a 261-kilogram (575.4-pound) <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/deadlift\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"120360\">deadlift<\/a>, and a 726-kilogram (1,600.6-pound) total. By the time the competition finished, Sitko&#8217;s overall <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/how-to-build-strength\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"120361\">strength<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/best-bodyweight-workouts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"120362\">conditioning<\/a> helped her take home the gold medal in the 76-kilogram division.
